Yokohama Bayside Marina Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") aims to always convey the joy and importance of the sea through "interaction between the sea and people" by operating a marina, yacht/boat school, and membership marine club.
To achieve this goal, we regard not only the safety and satisfaction of our customers, but also the promotion and popularization of marine leisure activities, regional exchange, and environmental conservation activities as important initiatives.
The Company believes that it is our social responsibility to properly manage personal information handled in our business activities in order to contribute to society and fulfill our mission.
In order to handle all personal information in our business activities in the strictest possible manner, the Company will comply with laws concerning the protection of personal information and ensure that all employees recognize the importance of protecting personal information and thoroughly implement all relevant systems to properly manage and protect personal information received from our customers.

Handling of Retained Personal Data
1. Purpose of Use
We will use personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use.

2. Provision of Personal Data to Third Parties
Except in the following cases, we will not provide personal data to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.

- When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned.

3. Outsourcing
We may provide personal information to subcontractors to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In such cases, the Company will require the subcontractor to handle the provided personal information properly and manage it appropriately.
4. Security Control Measures
We will take the following safety control measures for customers' personal information.
- Establish a person responsible for the handling of personal data and clarify the scope of personal data handled by employees.
- Establishment of a system for reporting to the person in charge of the event that evidence or signs of violation of the law or handling rules are detected.
- Regularly inspect the status of personal data handling, and evaluate, review, and improve security control measures.
- Regularly provide employees with training on matters to keep in mind when handling personal data.

5. Procedures for Responding to Requests for Disclosure, etc.
When a person or his/her representative requests us to notify the purpose of use, disclose, disclose records of provision to third parties, correct, add, delete, discontinue use or erase, or discontinue provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as "Disclosure, etc.") of retained personal data, we will respond to such requests.

We would appreciate it if you could write in red on the envelope, "Request Form for Disclosure, etc. of Retained Personal Data Enclosed".
(2) Please enclose one of the following documents for identification purposes
- A copy of your driver's license
- A copy of a small vessel pilot's license
- A copy of your My Number card (front side only)
- A copy of health insurance card
- A copy of your passport
- A copy of other identification issued by a public institution
(3) If the request is made by a proxy, please enclose the following documents in addition to (1) the "prescribed form" and (2) "identification documents".
- Identification documents of the proxy (same as above)
- For a legal representative, a document certifying the representative
- For an authorized representative, a Power of Attorney (click here to download)
(4) Fees
The following fees are required for each request for "notification of purpose of use" and "disclosure of retained personal data" and "disclosure of records of provision to third parties". Please note that a separate fee may be charged in cases where disclosure requires a lot of time and expense.
- Fixed-sum money order for 800 yen (issued within the last 6 months)
*A fixed-sum money order certificate can be purchased at a Japan Post Bank or a post office.
(5) Notification of Requests for Disclosure, etc.
The results of requests for disclosure, etc. will be notified without delay by the following methods.
- In the case of notification and disclosure of the purpose of use of retained personal data and disclosure of records of provision to third parties, in principle, the Company will respond to such requests in the manner specified by the individual or his/her representative on the "Request Form for Disclosure, etc. of Retained Personal Data". (If it is difficult to do so by the designated method of disclosure, etc., we will respond by sending a written document by postal mail.)
- In the case of correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties of retained personal data, we will notify you by e-mail or telephone to the effect that we have responded to your request.
If we are unable to respond to a request for disclosure, etc. based on laws and regulations, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone.
